Effective Feb. 1, 2026, the 18th Judicial District Court Trustee will increase its fees by 0.5%, bringing the fee to a total of 4%.

Sexual abuse verdict against private school reached in Kansas
A $5 million verdict was reached in a personal injury suit filed in Sedgwick County, Kansas, District Court. The verdict was reached Nov. 13, 2025, following an eight-day jury trial in the teacher/student sexual abuse case. The defendant, Trinity Academy Inc., a private school in Wichita, was found 74 percent at fault.
